I have been traveling a lot recently as evidenced by the number of bugs on my car. It’s clean now, but this time of year, coming back home from out of town in the dark, made a real mess on the front of my new Equinox.
Two weeks ago I was in Grapevine, TX for the Wine Fest, then Fayetteville the next week for a book signing. Then there was the Greek Festival in Edmond and now grandsons’ ball games/band performances. Whew!
Next Saturday, October 11, 2014, Stillwater Public Library will host a local Author’s Fair from 11:00 – 2:00. http://library.stillwater.org/read_local_authors_fair.php The event will include 30 – 40 authors and the public is invited. Special Guest William Bernhardt will be there and the library will provide children’s writing stations, teen writing classes, food trucks, and door prizes.
It is a great opportunity to meet local authors from all over the state. Come out, join the fun, and support the authors from your own community. I’ll be there so come by the table and say hi! I’d love to see you.
What have you been doing now that the weather has cooled off?
